Ithonga remedy
Neem — the honest bitter
Neem is bitter, and that bitterness has work to do. Bitter plants wake up digestion and support the liver's ordinary clearing work, which is why neem has been used for generations in skin and cleansing routines.
We steep and dry it strong rather than softening it into something pleasant. It is meant to taste like medicine.
Clearer skin
Traditionally used where breakouts and congestion follow a sluggish gut.
Digestive bitters
Best taken with food; it prompts the body to prepare for a meal.
Cleansing courses
Used in short courses of two to four weeks rather than endlessly.
How to use it
One capsule with your main meal, or a cup of neem and lemongrass tea in the evening. Drink plenty of water alongside. Not for use in pregnancy.
